My name is Tadeh Krikorian, a 15-year-old Armenian based in Los Angeles, California, committed to bridging the Armenian diaspora and driving meaningful change in our homeland.
The inspiration for Pulpulak.com came to me on a scorching July day in the summer of 2024, as I wandered through the streets of Yerevan, Armenia. Under the intense sun, I found myself desperately thirsty and struggling to locate a pulpulak with my bare eye. That moment of frustration sparked an idea: there should be a simple, fast, and accessible way to navigate and find free, clean, and eco-friendly water.
Motivated by this vision, I began researching during a layover in Vienna on my way back to Los Angeles. It was in that airport that Pulpulak.com was born. This platform is designed to make Armenia’s iconic pulpulaks easy to find while celebrating their cultural and environmental significance.
Pulpulak.com is my way of giving back to Armenia, creating a stronger connection between Armenians everywhere, and promoting sustainable, community-focused solutions. Together, we can preserve our heritage and build a better future, one fountain at a time.
